COVID-19 / Coronavirus situation in Pattaya

Partial shutdown of Pattaya similar to the situation in Bangkok. For example, shopping malls closed except for supermarkets, pharmacies & restaurants that do takeaway. Also closed: public parks, public gyms, public playgrounds, public sports fields.
Tourists cannot go to Koh Lan & Koh Si Chang.‬

⏰ IMPORTANT: At the moment, there is NO nationwide curfew and NO travel restrictions across Thailand. However, the following three groups should stay in their home:
- People with medical conditions
- People older than 70
- Children younger than 5

⏰ Airports are still open & Thai authorities are not blocking foreigners leaving. During the last time there was an emergency decree, foreign tourists were allowed to travel during curfew if they were heading to the airport. (Please note, we do NOT have a nationwide curfew yet.)
No foreigners are allowed to enter the kingdom, whether by plane, boat or on land. Exceptions are people who have a work permit and diplomats.

⏰ IMPORTANT: The emergency decree has started. There’re now health checkpoints at entry points to Bangkok & all provinces. Thais are being told they must carry their ID card. Nothing yet has been said about foreigners, but I strongly urge you to carry your passport if traveling.

⏰ A number of provincial governors have released their own set of rules for the emergency decree. Some stricter than others. But one common theme is the rule to wear masks at all times in public areas. Please take your mask with you when you leave your accommodation
